Kenneth R. Beams
Kenneth Beams is an experienced litigator, counselor and transactional attorney, with expertise in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and insolvency related issues. Mr. Beams specializes in representing clients in difficult situations, using high level strategies and creative methods developed through the course of his 22 years of experience, to achieve favorable results for his clients.
Mr. Beams has represented clients throughout state and federal courts in Michigan, and bankruptcy courts in multiple states, including Ohio, Illinois, Texas and Florida.
Recently, Mr. Beams has effectively represented creditors in highly contested bankruptcy cases. He represented a large Canadian oil and gas company in a Chapter 11 after the debtor filed for bankruptcy seeking to discharge the oil and gas company’s $2.4 million judgement. After Mr. Beams discovered the debtor fraudulently transferred substantial land holdings, his client obtained a substantial settlement of it’s judgement.
